Booking Process
After an arrest in Orange County, a person is typically transported to the Intake Release Center (IRC) in Santa Ana for booking. The booking process generally includes:

After booking, a person may be released on bail, released on their own recognizance, or transferred to Theo Lacy Facility or James A. Musick Facility depending on classification, medical needs, and available housing.
How Bail Is Posted at an Orange County Jail
